Two observations.

KP is quite entertaining on commentary. Goes a bit hammy and mad.

And I forgot all about Trevor Penney, still in the Royals setup.

KP is actually a pretty good commentator tbf. Got a good balance of media patter and ability to put across technical/tactical analysis in an easy way to understand for a non cricket person.


I reckon he would have been a blast to watch playing under the current England setup tough!

He’s good when he’s trying his best to not let the real KP slip out. He can give a good insight into what the players are thinking , even the bowers oddly.

Sometimes the mask slips though. Still entertaining.

He would have made TNT better this winter , I suppose. Mind you , so would Helen Keller.

He’s knowledgeable but gets far too much of a try hard when it comes to (supposedly) wringing drama out of any situation in a game. Very high pitched, gets semi hysterical and frankly unpleasant to listen to. He loves all that ‘KP’ the big man stuff. Can’t stand him personally despite his insights.
