I had an 80 year old bloke offer to give up his ST seat so my son could guarantee a seat by me.
All I actually needed to do was move to Northfield.
It's so effing bent, winds me up.
NouCampThey've not been given the pick of the seats, AFAIK a block was reserved (lower level) so that people (from different priority windows) could sit together. How he thought that would not get leaked I have no idea
Well yeah if one of those priority windows was having absolutely no priority lol
Free for all (if you join the OSC) and book your tickets in the block from screenshots ive seen on SM
Yeah, general sale tickets
AFAIK this sneeky scheme wasn't getting general sale people tickets ahead of anyone in a higher priority window, it was to get people sat together who were from different priority windows (inc General Sale), once they were eligible. And thus, none of the tickets have been sold/bought to date, because it's not gone to general sale
Technically it is phone/online/stadium queue jumping for when the tickets got on general sale, which isn't right and is bent, the fact they wanted this kept quiet shows this, that's a terrible look.
Not defending it btw, I'm one of the more outspoken ones on the dodgy ticket stuff. I'd imagine there's gonna be a few more leaks of this nature from across OSC's/Coach runners, I'm gonna get the popcorn
Nikola ZigicTyping KEEP THIS QUIET is a very bad look.
And probably makes it more likely someone will share it.

It's not nice to bully Spike.

TBF, you didn't even need to move there. Just pay a tenner to be in the OSC. HTH.
If the club had said "we're holding back some tickets to allow OSC members who qualify for tickets in different priority windows to sit next to each other", I think most people would have thought that was reasonable... They're not getting a ticket if they wouldn't have qualified for one anyway. It's the shady way it was done that has pissed people off and rightly so.
NouCampSeems to have blown up on social media
I have no idea how any of those responsible from either the Club or OSCs thought it would ever go any other way.....
FWIW I think there's a lot of angst about something is somewhat blown out of proportion.
For example in 2011, SHA had a chunk of tickets held back, which was distributed among users who might not have got one normally. Difference back then was people were a bit better about being discreet; as I have often said on here discretion is something that just doesn't happen any more.
I think they should have been more open with it; after all, anyone can join an OSC and be a part of it. Not being open has caused this to blow up more than it would and the reaction from Delves hasn't helped either.
I've said to a few people already that (personal opinion) I don't think the club will want many tickets to get to general sale; they will want an element of control over who gets tickets and it's better to sell tickets to either people with booking history or via an official supporters group which can be held accountable for behaviour.
All very sensible
I dont think anyone will miss out on tickets especially now we have an extra allocation but before yesterday if you were relying on general sale you'd be a bit anxious about bagging one
If you have to do something under the table and tell people not to say anything thats a clear indication you shouldn't be doing it
Be open with it, be consistent with it
Then you can justify it
Effectively sorting out priority for randoms to sign up to your OSC and book tickets in groups of 6+ or find away tickets for OSC members with no status to fill your coach isnt really on is it...I cant justify that

We didn't have a chunk held back as such but I was asked for a list of people I could vouch for before tickets were opened up for the full general sale.
It looks dodgy, and the way Delves has reacted makes it even worse. I have seen very little of him that makes me think he is anything other than an arrogant individual who is enjoying lauding his position over others.
I don't know why the club weren’t open at the start about how tickets were be distributed. Honesty goes a long, long way.
But the way the ticket office is ran, I am not surprised.
FinchyHe doesn't seem the brightest chap does he.
Just for the sake of balance, what Delves did to help my old man get to see Blues play one last time and fill his wish of taking the grandkids to their first game was above and beyond anything he needed to do. Different scenario’s but wait for the statement before throwing too many stones.
The difference this time is that it's happening while the priority windows are still open, I don't think many (if any) tickets will be going to anyone who wouldn't have got one anyway, but the optics are atrocious and I can't see how Delves survives this.

I think the biggest problem from day one with the OSCs has been communication - and in fairness to both Delves and Sukh I think the club have hung them out to dry a bit because neither of those guys are comms professionals. Sometimes you need someone with the knowledge to do that job and I think the club probably should have an employee tasked with being the offical comms for the OSC to prevent that. And before anyone says it, HELL no I don't want that job (not that I'm a comms professional anyway).

Just for balance, I only spoke to him a few times but went out of his way to help and wanted nothing in return.

Fair comments but a couple of things.
a) The club did explicitly say at the start of the season that they would not give OSC preference on tickets this season as demand would be generally exceeding supply.
b) Paul Delves is a liability. It's not the first time he's caused issues and seemingly can't keep his gob shut. So the club really needs to clip him once and for all.
