RadavisFinchyHe doesn't seem the brightest chap does he.
Just for the sake of balance, what Delves did to help my old man get to see Blues play one last time and fill his wish of taking the grandkids to their first game was above and beyond anything he needed to do. Different scenario’s but wait for the statement before throwing too many stones.
As I’ve said before I don’t think he’s a bad guy or anything but he’s astoundingly bad at any form of official communication and as MBH said on this thread, any sort of drama seems to have his name attached to it. I’ve heard he’s been advised about his conduct as VC of the OSC in the past, if so it clearly hasn’t sank in, as him telling people 1) not to share the info and 2) going ballistic when people inevitably did share it, looks terrible
Equally as Dan says, he’s probably been hung out to dry a bit because at the end of the day, he’s not a comms professional, and the club could probably do with a paid employee looking after some of this stuff.
Regardless I can’t see Delves being involved in the OSC much longer. He’s done some good things but he ultimately brings too much bad press to the whole operation
RadavisTresorLuntalaIt looks dodgy, and the way Delves has reacted makes it even worse. I have seen very little of him that makes me think he is anything other than an arrogant individual who is enjoying lauding his position over others.
I don't know why the club weren’t open at the start about how tickets were be distributed. Honesty goes a long, long way.
But the way the ticket office is ran, I am not surprised.
Just for balance, I only spoke to him a few times but went out of his way to help and wanted nothing in return.
Good to hear, thats honestly the first positive comment I have heard about him. I am not saying he is a bad person, I don’t know him, I can only go on what I see, and from what I see is arrogance. He needs to go about things in a much better way. As has already been said, he has controversy following him round.
I don't have a problem with the OSCs block booking tickets on the conditions that it is the right number for each window and not done secretly.
If someone has booked a block of 150 and only has 75 season ticket holders and 75 p3-p6 members that shouldn't really happen. Even then It's not much of a problem if the people would be within the first 36,000 buyers.
However both the club and the OSC should be open about it. They should say that say 2,000 tickets have been reserved for OSC members booking through OSCs.
One of the benefits of joining an OSC (I haven't joined one) should be they make it easier for you to get the tickets you are entitled to.
It's only a problem if they do things secretively or if people are effectively massively queue jumping. The people running the OSCs could do with a day's presentational training.
Not everyone naturally has a bit of polish to what they say or write. From what I have seen, not that I pay much attention, it's less that what they are doing is awful and more that they present it badly, especially to outsiders. Just presenting something well, rather than bluntly makes a massive difference to how it is received.
Le ModNouCampThey've not been given the pick of the seats, AFAIK a block was reserved (lower level) so that people (from different priority windows) could sit together. How he thought that would not get leaked I have no idea
Well yeah if one of those priority windows was having absolutely no priority lol
Free for all (if you join the OSC) and book your tickets in the block from screenshots ive seen on SM
Yeah, general sale tickets
AFAIK this sneeky scheme wasn't getting general sale people tickets ahead of anyone in a higher priority window, it was to get people sat together who were from different priority windows (inc General Sale), once they were eligible. And thus, none of the tickets have been sold/bought to date, because it's not gone to general sale
Technically it is phone/online/stadium queue jumping for when the tickets got on general sale, which isn't right and is bent, the fact they wanted this kept quiet shows this, that's a terrible look.
Not defending it btw, I'm one of the more outspoken ones on the dodgy ticket stuff. I'd imagine there's gonna be a few more leaks of this nature from across OSC's/Coach runners, I'm gonna get the popcorn
They kind of have though - they're being given access to seats that their priority level would otherwise not allow - I'm sat at the front in the gods (don't mind because the view is great) because I was unable to buy 6 seats together in the lower sections.
Completely agree, the communication, cloak and dagger, hush hush nature is very poor. A bit of transparency, from the off, would have made things better, would still have been iffy, but would have been a better sell.
Yeah that's fair, I actually think they're not the best view (personal preference) and I think it's where the academy lot are too, but I just looked and they are a high band, so I totally get it, it's not right.
The other thing is no chance the forms pictured in the group have been created anywhere but by blues
Not sure about that but if I felt aggrieved by any of this id be directing my ire at whoever is responsible in the ticket office for enabling it
They're bent
I’d be surprised if Jeremy Dale wasn’t completely aware of it
You know when I said Fat Claire had gone missing..,,
Forget all of this. I just want to know what's in Delves shoebox?
Forget all of this. I just want to know what's in Delves shoebox?
Hundreds of new OSC membership cards?
ThongsYou know when I said Fat Claire had gone missing..,,
And Delves has been trying to sell her shoes in the car park by the sounds of it
