Exactly what I said the other day. Knew too many tickets had been "sold"
Does delves actually get anything out of his position in the OSC (apart from a load of dodgy tickets)
I mean it's not a paid role or anything is it ?
Ain't gonna read through every spit and fart on here so some of this may have been said already.
I think that this has been blown out of proportion. Nobody will be losing out on getting a ticket for this game who wants one because od this. I know of at least one other OSC (albeit with smaller membership numbers) who has managed through the club to get all of their membership in one area together.
Biggest problem is the secrecy - just makes it look a lot more rogue than it actually is. Paul threatening throwing his toys out of the pram on the chat isn't a great look either.
But I know Paul pretty well, he's a good bloke who does a lot for the club and for us as supporters and he does it for the love of it. Seen at least one person call him a "liability" on here - bollocks. A chunk of the snipes at him are born of ideas that he gets special priveleges he simply doesn't, chunk more are born of the smoke generated when those ideas spread and a chunk more are born simply out of spite and jealousy. He ain't perfect but then again, who is? Up the Delves!
No, people won't miss out on a ticket.
BUT STH's didn't get the choice of blocks that they wanted with the plum seats somehow already taken. It was baffling at the time how all the lower blocks seemed to have immediately sold out. It makes sense now of course.

A block at Wembley holds between 600 and 900 seats. How would a couple of hundred OSC members (at the absolute most) sitting together mean that block after block would be sold out before the rest of us got a chance to buy one?
Tbf Raymond the fact most blocks werenât available for sale in the lower or middle tiers suggests something isnât quite right
Whether the osc blocks were located there only adds questions and suspicions
I know delves too, heâs not a bad person but itâs not a good look
El MayorNouCampSeems to have blown up on social media
I have no idea how any of those responsible from either the Club or OSCs thought it would ever go any other way.....
FWIW I think there's a lot of angst about something is somewhat blown out of proportion.
For example in 2011, SHA had a chunk of tickets held back, which was distributed among users who might not have got one normally. Difference back then was people were a bit better about being discreet; as I have often said on here discretion is something that just doesn't happen any more.
I think they should have been more open with it; after all, anyone can join an OSC and be a part of it. Not being open has caused this to blow up more than it would and the reaction from Delves hasn't helped either.
I've said to a few people already that (personal opinion) I don't think the club will want many tickets to get to general sale; they will want an element of control over who gets tickets and it's better to sell tickets to either people with booking history or via an official supporters group which can be held accountable for behaviour.
I can be held accountable for my old man and his mate if anybody has access to two via similar means as the OSC. DM me and I'll get you a drink on top x
I thought the reason the blocks were unavailable was down to a eff up at Wembley/Ticketmaster's end?

Completely missing the point - of course everyone will get a ticket.
They haven't however been able to get tickets in their preferred blocks and are having to sit away from family members/friends because of a) a limit on the number of tickets the average fan was able to buy within their network and b) because availability in preferred areas was so limited.
All of which handpicked OSC's have not had to worry about, regardless of their priority status.
No they opened âall blocksâ on day one in the pm
More than half the blocks werenât available for sale
AndyThe difference this time is that it's happening while the priority windows are still open, I don't think many (if any) tickets will be going to anyone who wouldn't have got one anyway, but the optics are atrocious and I can't see how Delves survives this.
Surely he'd resign, who'd want the agro for an "unpaid" position.
I'd love to know what actual benefits they get from this "unpaid" position. Could understand someone retired wanting the position or someonelike Sukh who does shit loads for the community but a young bloke with a family, eff that.
Now allegations of riding the gravy town - yeah, it makes sense now.
