To sack or not to sack?

Long Long Road

I was down in Devon last week, enjoying an electronic fast with no computer, TV, radio or phone. It was good to get away from the endlessly recycled rumours and the bickering on fans forums about whether Gianfranco Zola should or should not be sacked. When I returned home on Friday I learned that Zo

Tactically naive but he has improved the technical ability of some players, not all his buys have worked out but if he clears the deadwood and goes again in the summer i d like to see him get the first 12 games of next season

There is no debate. We are all debated out. People have made their minds up and most think he should be gone.
Here's an idea. Rather than bleating your arse off behind an anonymous name on here or Twitter, do something about it. Stick your head above the parapet and do something in the real world. Don't be some social media troll - put your money where your mouth is.

or does that require effort/balls you don't have?

We gave Rowett 2 years and all he managed was to turn us from crap to bang average. We should afford GZ the same luxury.

Sack, he's crap, having more money and time won't change the fact that he doesn't even know how to use substitutions.

The point is that Zola's challenge is to improve us from 'bang average' to good. Has he got the managerial skill to do that?

I cannot show blind faith in what has been inadequacy from him and the management and scouting structure around and above him.

With a train full of italian tippy tappers. We've not got that Thongs. The closest we have to that is Fabrini and we fecked him off coz he was shite.

So you're saying it was a good thing we gave Rowett so long?

Bottom line for me... Gary took us - as thongs said from crap to bang average. That's a forward movement whichever way you slice it.

All we've done under Zola is go backwards. Simple as that.

Dragged from a steady position
Seeds of disharmony sown all around
New leader that no one wanted who seemingly doesn't have a plan
Value and standing of the club in free fall
Club media desperately and repeatedly trumpeting any shred of good news
Promise that we'll have more funds for our failing defence
Promise of long term gains for shot term losses even though evidence suggests otherwise
Only hanging onto our position because opposition seem incompetent

Zolas got us playing Rowett style football again, he even admits this in the programme on Saturday.

when we do play it, we pick up points, Fulham, Wolves, Cardiff, Newcastle etc etc.

Playing tippy tappy crappy football has got us no where.

He need to balance out the style of football based on the squad he has, not what he thinks they can do.
