Edit: Although that Onouha scandal leaves a nasty taste, has he worked since?

I hope he doesn't think we've got the sort of income to pay him that type of salary or he may be in for a disappointment.

I think he went to school in Rubery at either Waseley or Colmers and still has mates in the area.
A number of years ago he arranged for the local pub team at the Hare and Hounds to play at Man City's ground.
Don't think he's a Blues fan though.

He's from the Northfield/west Heath area originally and he's blues. Got great contacts in the game apparently. A yes from Me.

That's some great player recruitment history there.

would be massive step up in quality if we went for him, would he come?
Would probably expect more than `Arry in wages.

Not sure about the Northfield connection as I was at Waseley school in Rubery same time as him. I thought he was Rubery lad. Also played for local team in Rubery. I know cause I remember him on the same pitch as me. Happy days

I read an interview before a Man City game a few years ago whereby he said that he was a Blues fan once but he "didn't give a stuff about them any more". So never a Blues fan at all really, probably just a fan of the odd corporate jolly when the Sullies were around.

Not that any of that matters really because the bonuses that he and Harry would command for getting us into the Prem would probably diminish the transfer kitty to such a low that we'd be better off staying down.

I know this is just a GR fantasy but I thought I'd reply anyway.
