Bowling

Bowling is a weird one. I play for 20 mins get bored but the next day have to urge to play a spot of bowling.

For me its cycling.

I love going to the cinema but with two young kids I don't get to go very often.

Golf for the same reasons.

One thing I don't miss particularly is hangovers after getting pissed.

I'll echo this. With one little toddler and another on the way, I honestly just miss my weekends actually being MY weekends.

Don't wish it away. The time will fly and they'll be spotty, sweary effers who trash the house.

I miss drinking as much beer as I want.

Nowadays, I’ll have one pint…maybe 1 and a half and no more!

I wish I was a bit more willing to have a few beers sometimes but I never do!

Ah yeah but once they get that little bit older and enjoy doing stuff those weekends become magic.

I spent my bank holiday Monday sat at the end of the BHX runway waiting for the A380 to take off because my lad is daft about it. You can't help but smile.

I've got a 6 and 18 month old at the minute and it's just got past the really hard stage into the fun stage now.

My lad is mad on planes too.

Taking him to a flight simulator soon.

There's also an option to fly a light aircraft (9 year old +) with dual controls and a pilot 😁 for £150. For a one off experience it's good value.
