Oh dear. Well, we've only had one left back for about 4 years, it had to catch us out eventually...

That’s a real shame. I was really hoping he would keep it up and win the player of the season award. Think he deserves it for the shit he’s had to put up with for years.

yep real shame, expect we will now make full use of Jenkinson, who-ever can slot in best at LB out of him and Colin should play there

I agree, and his performances, through all the shite, have deserved it.

A new chapter for Blues. See it as an opportunity for us to improve.

There are a fair few players that are before Grounds in the 'could be improved' department.

A stalwart for the team who will be badly missed. Injuries in vital areas have cost us dearly this season.

I think the team will benefit from Jenkinson being brought in now to be honest.

'Apparently' Jenkinson can play LB or if not Colin can. They in my opinion are both better players than Grounds.

Colin struggled as left back for us earlier in the season. Was not convincing at all. Came in side to clear the ball and lost it consistently. Got skinned a lot.

Jenkinson may well prove otherwise but its a hard position to play, unless you do it often its a risk.

Against Snodgrass who cuts inside it may work ok but any decent winger will have them on toast.

Can't see the sense in moving an established Right Back to Left Back, when it's been shown he struggled there, was this under Cotterill or was it Redknapp?

Or they’ll just stick Snodgrass on the left and stick that massive black forehead guy on the right and have him on toast

I remember him playing well in the first half against Preston (Under Redknapp) at left-back and his goal was pretty special.

At the time he played there, the whole team was still gelling and the whole team was playing pretty cack.

When Rico Henry got injured at Brentford, Colin covered at left-back and their fans said he did a good job. His versatility was probably one of the reasons we went for him in the first place.

Don't know how much we can judge from his previous stint, as the whole team/defence looked Sunday league standard.

Seems more risky to me, playing Jenkinson there when he's barely played any football. Less risk IMO playing Jenkinson at RB in his natural position and shifting Colin over.

Worzel has it covered. They'll draw straws to decide who gets skinned by Snodgrass. Worzel will then say how proud he was of their performance, considering how tired they were.
