Pep finally got his man then, £60m. Hard to see who he'd dislodge from that team but it's a lot of money for a bench warmer

Wigan Pier.

He seems to do well for Guardiola though, will be interesting. You think he's worth that money?

No way is he worth £60m; City have done well out of that! I think they signed him for around £500k!!

Good player but not worth 60m
22:18, Tue 10 Jul
He'll be sold within 2 years for half the price after hardly playing. Pointless signing for them as midfield is their strongest area.

Probably. Waste though if he is. He'said the type of player arsenal should break the bank for, especially after losing Sanchez

Aguaro

Sterling

Sane. Silva. Fernandinho. De bruyne Marahez

Mendy. Kompany. Otamendi

:(:(

Who's Marahez?

Or that just how you pronounce it in Texas:D?

Sterling plays on the left, Mahrez plays on the right.

He will be rotating with Bernardo Silva for the right wing spot.

Mahrez won't start over Sterling & Sane.

Another kick in the bollocks for young English talent like Phil foden...someone who should really be knocking on that England euro 2020 door by then.
15:41, Thu 12 Jul
Different position? Isn't Foden meant to be a central/attacking midfielder rather than predominantly a wide player?

Yeah Foden has got to get in front of Silva. Mahrez is good enough to play the number 10 role too imo

Yeah think Pep is basically grooming Foden as the next Silva, has them training closely together all the time. Which is great news for us.

If he continues to develop and achieves his potential he’s going to be a wonderful player. We’ve got a lot of very good young players in England to add to the ones who already established themselves. Looks promising.

Man City have some insane squad depth and its hard to not see them winning the league again this year.
I imagine Mahrez will be mostly competing with Bernardo for that RW spot, they already have Sane/Sterling on the left and Aguero/Jesus @ CF 8-)
They will have a bench full of players that would start for any other team in the PL!

Foden, while a huge talent plays in a completely different position to Mahrez.... He should come to blues on loan for some game time ;)
