Slightly Turbid
He's got the opportunity there to win 10 in a row. That'll be his name in managerial folklore.
.

That is a very caveated record. Five of them were in a two horse race where the other runner was a non-runner. The other runner was lame for the rest.

Their league looks a bit more competitive this year, neither them or Rangers are currently top. But even then, you'd have to think that Rodgers has ambitions of coming back to England at some point.

Villa have the best squad in the league apart from a centre-half and the second richest owners in English football. Whilst their fan base are full of fickle turds, the players and potential if they go up, would still be a draw for somebody in Scotland IMO.
Does having the 2nd richest owners have any relevance to how high you can finish anymore?
Surely the ffp rules have fecked that

is rogers above or below beckham on your hate-o-meter?

i still love the interview with liverpool TV where he keeps trying to gawk at the woman's tits and not get caught!!

Rodgers wins, or loses - whichever way you look at it, that particular contest.

Beckham had actual talent.

And yeah - that interview on the plane where he couldn't stop himself looking at the woman's chest was hilariously inappropriate...good job they were sitting down, he'd have had to wear his Cuban Heeled shoes to reach her waist if they were standing up.

Dwarfy litte fanny.

For how many seasons?
They’re miles behind Everton and Wolves for example

Maybe, but in theory there is proper money there, they could catch Wolves up fairly easily if they spent well. But unless they go up it won't matter.

Sky just do this to boost their profit on Skybet.

Moyes was nailed on, then Henry, then Rodgers, now Martinez.

Alan Nixon seems convinced that Terry Henry doesn't want the Poisoned Chalice, also Rogers is said to have ruled himself out (again).

Will Mendes increase his influence by placing Rui Faria in the Witton job?

Will they take a wild stab-in-the-dark punt on John Terry?

Or will they have to settle for the weasel-faced ginger ex-supporter who they thought wasn't glamorous enough for such a massive job at the biggest club in the world?

He was 33's last week and has definitely been interviewed, he was in Brum last week. I think he may be the back up if Henry turns them down.

This - seems it now isn't gonna be who they wanted. Not that the deluded will believe that anyone would even contemplate turning them down. Is not having control over transfers the sticking point I wonder?
