El MayorBluesince62So paying him off and his staff, plus recruiting replacement staff...all goes on the P&S bill?
No, I believe that is excluded.
It is indeed, appendix D here.

The events of the last few days suggest their new manager could be Kohl Rabi
He’s a bit green, but he could just be the one to pull ‘em up
jefflynneshairIt won’t be Big Sam. You can see by the appointments made so far that they’re trying to build the same model as at Wolves with a Head Coach who is very much just and only that. It will be a young urbane foreign coach not exactly fluent in English but still possessing a better grasp of it then Steve Bruce.
And that foreign coach could be Paulo Fonseca of Shakhtar Donetsk. Saw him heavily rumoured yesterday. He supposedly turned down Everton and West Ham during the summer, but being a Mendes client, you never know.
They were slating the Mendes/Wolves model last season, but you can guarantee they'd lap it up if it works for them.
Think they'd be mad to overlook Dean Smith personally.
I think the owners would want a name. Think the best we can hope for is Henry or Terry to take it and end up being totally out of their depth.
Funny how different we are.
1 win all season v 3 wins all season - and we are fully behind the manager and the team, whilst they call for his head.
Up the f’n Blues.
The background to the two scenarios are very different to be fair.
carrsrighthandPardew would be brilliant
Love to see this happen. 😁😁
You can help here 😉

Circle of life.
If we have the exact sequence of results (even allowing for good performances) this time next year as we have so far this year, some people will be baying for Monk to go.
Bruce had been there two years which is the tipping point where everything becomes he manager's fault.
This forum has been a mercifully Rowett free zone for a while so sorry for mentioning him here, but if you look at things from one perspective, we've spent a few years and a load of money running round in a big circle to end up with pretty much where we were initially under Rowett. A workmanlike 4-4-2 team, with a bit of an underdog mentality, and a load of guff being spouted about how we've got a good young manager who 'gets' blues. The only difference is that Monk has not been here long so he's still the messiah, whereas by the end Rowett had been here a while so he was a very naughty boy.
All of this 'that's what makes us blues' stuff is a bit needy and self congratulatory in my opinion. Football fans are all pretty much the same.
Having come across villa fans on the street hundreds of times I can tell you now that all football fans aren’t the same.

That's a strange hobby.
Dont compare monk to rowett. Please. Completely different.
TBF, it was a very small handful - one in particular on here - that were calling for Rowett to go. Most were behind him and could see he was doing a good job, such was the shock when he was fired. It's what has come out since that has turned people off Rowett.

Just wait.
Ultimately results determine a manager’s fate, but entertainment certainly helps alleviate things. There were definitely some noises about Monk a few weeks back which have died down a lot, but most blues fans will be patient at the moment because on the one hand, for the first time in a long time, it’s fun to watch the Blues, and on the other, there is belief if we keep playing this way results will improve - and of course in our current predicament expectations are lowered anyway.
In the promotion campaign under Bruce there were plenty of complaints when results didn’t go our way, partially because the football was pretty dull, but largely because a lot of Blues fans considered us a premiership team and club temporarily subjected to the championship (also a result of Bruce who got some slack because he got us to the prem in the first place).

No we are not
The football under Monk is very good and we create a lot, workmanlike and akin to what it was under Rowett is very unfair.
