I know Rab, but let's just say I was unimpressed by vile tonight, Bolton had a great start to the season (mostly through luck but there you go).
They are a shocking outfit now though, yet could have easily gone in at 1-1, vile were cack until the 2nd, then Bolton lost heart.
That's how I saw it anyway.

Elphick's problem isn't due to a lack of ability, it's a mental one. He's not good at handling the pressure of playing for us. Hogan suffers from the same problem IMO.

To be fair he is probably right - How many of us could cope with the completely unrealistic view that despite the fact you have spent your life working at a standard (championship) level, your new employer has tripled or more your wages and you are now expected to be world class in your performance. If you are not, and you clearly are not going to be, then you get 25,000 high pitched idiots screaming at you for every tiny little mistake you do.
Now if you were to go to an employer whose customers support you even when things are tough its going to be much easier to perform.
They are special, and they are the victims of their own stupidity - Long may it continue.
