I'm glad someone has mentioned music, cos I have a proper Ear Worm at the moment, it came on a few days back, its Buffolo Springfields `For what its worth`, I had it down as a summer of love Hippy tune, but when I saw the vid, the lead singers a full-blown cowboy!
Its those first few notes.

Don't think this has been a great year for new releases tbh - I'm a bit exhausted by Nick Cave so haven't listened to Ghosteen yet, maybe it's amazing. Danny Brown's new record was good, Hannah Diamond's has some quality tunes, same with Ladytron who made a solid comeback. Can't think of much else, albeit have got into some older stuff. Sly & the Family Stone are amazing ;-)

The Twilight Sad - It wont be like this all the time

"Loveworm" - Beabadoobee
"Everybody's Everything" - Lil Peep
"Night Tempo" by Night Tempo

I can't do 10 either, but the ones that spring immediately to mind are Dogrel by Fontaines DC, Bandana by Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Hiding Places by Billy Woods & Kenny Segal, and best of the year, Serf's Up by the Fat White Family, who myself & Tarquin saw last week live and who were phenomenal.

effing good list that e17

The new Nick Cave, along with the new Wilco are the biggest disappointments of the year.

Jeff Tweedy said, let’s face it, no one needs a new Wilco album, and he’s right.....and his comment applies to nearly every band of a similar longevity

Funny that, FB, I think Caves latest is up there with his best work - possibly the best.

Lots do, I dunno if I’m just worn out by all the emoting, I’d seen him do his Q and A thing not long ago it all became a bit cloying.

The new Leonard Cohen is exceptional

Lil Peep? Seriously? I can't say I've heard it but from his previous stuff, he is absolute sh!te.

I haven't listened to too many full albums this year as I only tend to listen when I have the CD but for me:

Little Simz - Grey area
Kano - Hoodies all summer
Foals - Everything not saved will be lost (pt 1)
