Pep Clotet's Blues claimed a much-needed win against Championship basement dwellers Luton Town

JUTKIEWICZ 7.5
A dominant header for his ninth of the season. Yes.

and involved in a never-ending scrap with Matty Pearson and Sonny Bradley.
(Because he can't get away from them)

His hold-up play was excellent,
(Was it?)

his industry magnificent.

(Lumbering around isn't industry)

To think he’s been criticised this season.

(Not as a person, but in how he limits the team)

1 decent ball in the box to attack he scored. It’s what he does when we occasionally do it

His success rate from decent crosses into the box is very, very good.

9 goals this season for juke:

1 less than patrick bamford who cost leeds 10 million
1 more than jordan hugill who cost west ham 10 million
1 more than martyn waghorn who cost derby 7 million

juke does what juke does and he is bloody good at it. our failings this season are that we have not replaced che.

up the juke.

Imagine thinking Juke is the problem.
Tell you what that crack is really moreish.

If we are playing with two strikers, then Juke has a role. But if we are playing any version of anything but 442, he does not. Yes he scored... but did you count how often our forward play broke down due to his limitations?
18:38, Sat 11 Jan
So who do we play?

If you say Gimenez then you’re already wrong.
Tell you what that crack is really moreish.

Absolutely not Giminez. The question is... Do we need to replace Che or replace Juke. The answer gives us very different teams and styles of play. Can we play 442 and compete with the top 6?

Let’s criticise the only bloke who scores for us, great idea.
No future.....
Negative nigel. He did a job today

Dread to think where we'd be if the Juke had left before the start of the season . True grit 🤠

The answer is that we need to replace Che because he doesn't play for us any more but we don't need to replace Juke because he is still with us and a bloody good job he is as well because we would be in the bottom 3 without him.

Juke is one one the best in the division at what he does and needs someone with a bit of pace alongside him a la Che last season.

It's like you can't see the problem. He scores one and then kills us as an attacking force for 89 minutes. Next week he won't score and he'll kill us as an attacking force for 90 minutes. It's not his fault, he's just incredibly slow. Spend some time watching literally any other team's leading striker.

As much as it pains me to say it, we replace Juke. That's if we're going to insist on trying to play Dongball.
