Wonder if Dong deferred some of his wad

Has he got a big wad ?

301k pa in the last accounts

Which puts him below the £6k a week threshold.

Conveniently just below, the £6k threshold is surely a coincidence..
On Talk Sport right now, talking about Blues players being asked to take a wage deferral

Yep individual decision nobody being bullied into it some players have sprogs on the way or have just bought a house

Club delivered various gym equipment to all the players houses instead of leaving it lying around Wast Hills

Best wishes Harlee and all the players and staff at the club

Iā€™d like to think that to a man they are all doing it when you consider how much they get paid compared to say, the canteen staff or the cleaners, of which their deferred wages will go towards costs. The club have even said its only until June when you will be back paid!

No worries, a brief recap for those who didn't hear it.

The club approached Dean to talk to the rest of the players about taking a 50% wage cut, deferred to the end of the season. It sounds like it's all voluntary and down to the individual. Harley said that he would gladly take the cut. He did indicate that some of the other players may not be so willing but the mood is generally good, although Jude Bellingham didn't look up from his George Best biography.

Applies to all players earning above £6k a week.
EXCLUSIVE BY MATT HUGHES: Many of Birmingham's players have agreed to defer up to 50 per cent of their wages from April to help ensure all the non-footballing staff will be paid in full
