You wanted Monk out after a few games in his full season with us. How wrong you were then 😉
I’m taking a wild guess that it wouldn’t be the only manager the knives were out for very quickly...
Mario kempes 78El Mayorright! but what's that gotta do with warnock fantastic track record in this division then?Mario kempes 78Which was?
I wouldn't trust them with the effing date.

I wanted Allardyce
He would have sorted the defence and put flair where needed
Cook would have been a good long term appointment he has a good philosophy and coaches talent
Warnock would have been great 8 games to go last season ala boro...he’s almost a guarantee
Not enjoying this at all under AK

Nigel Pearson was an alternative worth considering.
TQ BlueNigel Pearson was an alternative worth considering.
He was quite ill over the Summer after leaving Watford apparently.

Thanks, I had no idea about any of that.

So he has had 3 Championship promotions in about 20 attempts? I genuinely thought it was better than that.
I quite liked the idea of Paul Cook coming to us, I said it at the time. Similar to when Allardyce got the England job, I didn't understand the SHA euphoria when Karanka signed. I'd still give him at least into the middle of next season to see how we've moved on but I've got to be honest, my tenners are staying in my pocket at the moment. Halfway through his 3 year plan is fair enough for an appraisal I think.
El MayorMario kempes 78Paul cook or warnock was the alternative but dong knows best all the time...
I guarantee if Paul Cook had taken the job, you'd have been on here moaning we should have had Karanka.
As for Warnock - just no.
Exactly what I was about to say - no-one, including Paul Cook, has a cheap or free solution to sort things out.
Warnock is HOPEFULLY in his last job, and as such will never manage BCFC.

I wanted Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho but they were both too expensive.
