A donkeys jaw: saw.
A pump screwdriver.
A Jack plane, smoothing plane and shooting plane.
A brace and bit.
Saw stocks for sharpening saws.
Saw horse (before workmates).

The angle of the bend added to the narrowness of the roadway itself meant it was no longer suitable when trailer lengths increased from 40 ft to over 13 metres.
Hence its demises.
