Apparently, Albion have returned 1700 tickets for their game at Coventry because of the ticket price! 👏🏽

I wish more fans would do this.

Its the re-arranged match due to Queen's death and is now a night match.

Original allocation was 4000.
Prices then were £33 adults, £20 Under-18s.

If 1700 returned then 2,300 still good for night match near Christmas.

£33

I couldn’t disagree more, £33 is a lot of money to many people, football has to get its house in order.

That price seems ok to me?

What do they expect to pay to help sustain a Championship football club?

There’s a £30 cap in the Prem and a cost of living crisis. Anything over £30 is scandalous

This. We're as bad - after QPR being £15 on a Friday and on TV, Sunlun and Reading were/are £35 - taking the absolute piss. Its lucky half the ground is closed because it'd look terrible if it was all open and there was still only 17k in there.

No championship game should be more than £25 anywhere.

It's not per ticket though is it. When the average person buys a ticket they might book for 2 or 3 people and it's 100 odd quid.

Collectively you might look and go - "jesus, shall we leave it?"

...and that's how it happens.

This. I just won’t pay more than £30.

Of course, it may be that Albion just couldn’t sell the allocation; however, I really do hope that the allocation hasn’t sold out because of a boycott.

Albion have been averaging 1400 away this season because of Bruce ball and crap results. They’ve won 3 on the bounce though so normally I’d expect them to take 3500 to Cov even midweek and sell out 4K comfortably on a weekend

Isn’t a bit premature to return those tickets with the game still a month away and maybe people’s minds being on the World Cup just now? Having said that I think £33 is a joke.
