Dont tell me he is a great footballer, is this what watching Blues does to you over the years, he will never be a great footballer, Goalscoring he is a machine, but so was Lineker , so was Clive Allen, not great footballers by any means

Here I was thinking goalscoring was a major component of football.

There is a point to be made though, Haaland is an absolute goal scoring machine but Man City are clearly missing something with him up front that they’ve had in recent years.

The most difficult skill on a football pitch is scoring goals - only the greatest score 100's of goals, all of whom are great footballers.

Foden, Cancelo, Silva, Walker being so far off last seasons form is also a reason (Foden maybe for off the field stuff Imo) Grealish is getting more game time and is below their usual level as well. Dias is also injured most of the time it seems

Yeah they’re definitely off form, I don’t think they’re helped by a striker who doesn’t really get involved in the build up though. That’s the reason Pep wasn’t huge fan of Aguero
