The fact is if the SHA experts had the nous, clout and acumen that the so called idiots doing the bidding have, they wouldn’t be wasting their time talking shit on the internet.

The more I look back on it, the more ridiculous it was to have Richardson and Lopez rock up in a car park. Can you imagine a serious investor doing that? Tin pot.

the impression I've got from Mayor's blogs is that Richardson did genuinely want to help us whether it was his money or not, guessing its similar to Dale.

Unfortunately he also liked the attention that came with it.

Do you reckon they’re going in with the same deal on the table as Maxco because at least they know that the current owners are open to it (rather than them not wanting to give up a controlling stake immediately)?

Looks like only deal on offer. Lot of people wer saying hope the maxco deal fails so other serious bidders can come in and get the whole club. Doesnt seem like thet wanna let go of the whole lot yet if at all.

I'm fairly sure Richardson's heart was/is in the right place.

Sadly, he tied up with the wrong people and I think he believed his own hype a bit too much that he could do the deal.

Good point. I am currently in my underpants drinking tea and eating toast.

😂😂 ditto… ruminating on how football ownership is littered with financial’gurus’ like Mel Morris and Dr Tony who thought they knew best but come a cropper

The same question, 'Why would any sane person get involved in this deal', keeps getting asked.

Surely the answer is, that there is no other deal to get involved in. This is the only deal the owners will do.

I still believe that if a deal as poor as this does eventually lead to full ownership of the club, then maybe a group who have the right entrepreneurial flair, the financial clout, the experience of running successful sports businesses and the passion for the project, can turn this club into a successful venture. Early signs are that this group may have those traits.

I can understand scepticism. Its a protective thing. I'm going to remain positive for now.

I agree. My main concern with Maxco was Southall's involvement and it being clear they didn't have the money. They also acted unprofessionally.

At the moment it feels as though this piecemeal deal is what we have to accept to be able to shift away from BSHL.

It's not perfect but I'm much more open to it with serious business people involved.

Thank you Dan,I'll say it again:all your effort and hard work is massively appreciated by thousands of Blues.

Keep up the good fight 💪 👏 👌.

Blues 💙.

I'm not getting my hopes up as it is Blues after all.

What we need is some multi billionaire to come in, pay the owners whatever they want to eff off and start afresh. I know it's never going to happen in a million years but a man can dream 😂

everyones back on t assumption road again - it might be the same structured deal but the price is £1 which would start to make a bit more sense - we just don't know and until we do save yourselves the stress and see what happens

The price is the same as Maxco, £35m

Well thats well and truly pissed on my chips. I was getting quite hopeful that these guys were acting professionally, knew sports ownership, and had access to the real money needed. From what you have said in the past about this deal it would take a mad man to do it - unless they were a Whelan, Walker or Gibson who had so much money they could afford to to waste a load on their boyhood club.

Another good piece Dan of clearing things up for the rest of us.

I know you have made it very clear that you are not involved, however, if you were approached, would that be something you would be interested in? With this current group or any potential owners?

I think it would get a lot of fans on side if they saw someone like you involved with it.

If anybody was to purchase the 21.64% , could they then buy shares on the open market to take their stake past the 30% needed to make a formal takeover offer , or is that different in Hongkong ?

Its a mad deal we keep hearing without actually knowing the deal, this pelley fella is an incredibly tenacious and successful buisnessman who has a very impressive cv.
I take a lot of hope from this and until we know more about what they are planning and who might be involved i intend to remain positive. Something i never felt under Ropez.
