Because QPR set up well, stiffled us and actually didn't give us the ball and sit in and pressed well from the front. Koji just didnt have enough space to create. Actually think Burke would have been the better option from the start actually to stretch play early.
We just have that focal point up front that is in the mold of a Donaldson or Adams. If you haven't got the players theirs not a lot you can do.
Overall a point was a fair result. I thought ruddy, drameh and Bielek had solid games.
Just like Tuesday night I really don’t get eustace’s substitutions? They made no impact whatsoever Dembele looked like he had just been on a 2 week bender in Ibiza!
Top six mangers always have a plan B and make changes that have impacts. Something that eustace doesn’t do.
If he doesn’t get a win in the next three games he’ll be walking the plank. It’s a shame as the football is actually enjoyable and entertaining to watch for once !!
I thought I would wait to post my thoughts, after a frustrating if entertaining game.
You can't say John 'DvB' Useless didn't go for it yesterday, dropping Sunjic for Bacuna was all about going for it, unfortunately it didn't quite work, we sometimes needed someone to control things and calm things down a little in the middle of the park and didn't really have that, it was very panicky at times, and QPR soon realised they had a chance in the game.
We created some good chances, a lot created through Stansfield, but we also could have done better with some composure in the box 1st half and shooting first time instead of looking for another pass.
I'm not overly critical as the team is still learning as is John 'DvB' Useless, but he'll have to start picking up some wins, I think the board will give him time and a bit of leeway as they know it is a work in progress, and we have definitely seen progress, but there is still more to do (i.e. striker and goalkeeper in the summer).
We'll get there this season (injuries allowing) it's just going to take patience and time.

TrickyBlueRasputinMithrandir8 games in, what’s our style of play?
The first 70mins were as good as I've seen them play for about five years. Go to bed mate.
First game you've watched in 5 years then? We've literally played better this season.
TBH i think this was possibly our worse league performance this season
I thought we were better last night than against both Plymouth and Millwall.
Surprised how many saying it was poor. I thought it was pretty good for a nil nil plenty of tempo to it and both sides moved the ball well enough.
Suppose the fact the last 20 was our worst spell doesn’t help. Thought Beilik and Bacuna tired a bit and Dembele looked well short. They pushed up 10 yards when Juke came on so the game changed.
Burke did fine but looks like some have made their mind up. The right back looked much better and Beilik was very good.

Played better in last 2 games 😂
Cannot believe that anybody thought "Burke did fine".
When did he have any positive impact on the game?

Think we were poorer v Plymouth, Leeds and Millwall and better v Preston, Bristol City and Swansea. Hard to judge Watford, that’s the one game l’ve missed.
Reflecting then, this was our best home performance but we have played better away.

Debatable and, even so, his performance overall was again disappointing.
I really would love him to come good but I doubt that all his other clubs ever saw much more from him.

I think I've just spotted the flaw in your cunning plan...however...👏

He also played in Stansfield pretty well. He was fine last night although he that brainless flick toward drameh when we had a 2vs1 and he could've turned on the ball was very frustrating.

You aren’t using the one where he completely missed Bacuna wide open infront of him to pass to Stansfield who had 2 defenders around him are you.
Millwall signed him twice in the space of a year
Can’t have been all that bad
