Cattellroadcorner3 goals in the last 5 games. We know where the issue is.
As ever with Blues over the years, as ever!
PetebaldwinI thought he played alright as well. It's just a shame he struggles so much with the basics. Time and time again and vaguely promising move was halted because he passed it 5 yards behind someone...
He’s another one who’s quick and fast but has the footballing brain of a brick.
Wouldn’t be adverse to seeing what he’s like up front where he can just run off the shoulder of defenders and not have time to overthink things.
Sure but we already know that's the problem and thankfully, all of our strikers will be leaving the club in the summer.
The bloke can't even make a 5 yard pass. Every single one he plays is behind the runner and it completely kills the momentum of any build up he's involved with. The sooner we get the other forwards back and he can be resigned to a 10 minute impact sub, the better.
Toothless. Nothing else to say really. We go nowhere till we get a striker. Personally I would play Dixon. He definitely won't be any worse.
Thought we had a lot of energy in that period. Dropped off after it again. Don’t give a feck what Goldman says. I think you’re saying we were passive for 20 minutes then rubbish for 25. I think you should watch it back. A bit disappointing we couldn’t take the gave more to them in that second half of the second half. Got Stansfield in first half but second half much less influential.
Agree a bit disappointing ultimately,
It's been said by fans of every club he's played at - he's a sprinter, not a footballer.
Spying CopCheers John 'DvB' Useless. You are deflating my Wagner positivity.
You think tonight was tedious??
Where were you under Bruce/McLies and Rowet!!!!
Two and a half games and Burke gets no better.
Constantly picks the wrong option and his passing is woeful.
But with our injury list he will undoubtedly have to figure more often so whilst he does we must support him and hope he improves.
Is it fitness? Half the bastards looked knackered in the first half, little wonder they seemed to lack energy as the game progressed.
Still, after two defeats a point is OK, reduces the risk of confidence being eroded and John 'DvB' Useless going ultra defensive.
Someone said the other day it’s all rather reminiscent of a season under Monk, where we we played well for weeks without getting our just desserts then BOOM. Well boomish anyway.
AlienEarth023Utter bollix
Excellent first half and could have been 2 up
Both keepers made great saves on first 20 mins of second half.
Subs didn't fire for us a game hit tense and tight.
We'll play a lot worse and win.
Thought we coukd have thrown Manny on instead of Burke more unpredictable possibly.
Had we got point at Watford and win at Preston we deserved we'd most likely have won that
No doubt we gave more attacking intent and again majority of possession, two great saves, a worldy clearance and wasteful finishing.
To say that was boring is bulcrap
It’s not a question of whether it’s boring or not. It’s about players making decisions. We still don’t have the quality. Some people think it’s just about technical players and a passing game. It’s about decision making and quality. We still don’t really have those.
Mithrandir8 games in, what’s our style of play?
The first 70mins were as good as I've seen them play for about five years. Go to bed mate.
FWIW, i think the machine is good BUT the engineer is still a apprentice..
Amy TYeah imagine being annoyed at playing well but your first choice striker fecks up a 1v1 from 8 yards and you drop points because of it, again
Imagine being so anti a particular player that you'll ignore the multiple bloody good chances missed by loads of players in the first half, but fixate on one chance that your 'hate player' missed.

First game you've watched in 5 years then? We've literally played better this season.
