Decent until the naive clueless manager made changes, time to go sotv
I would give 5/6 out of 10 at this point. My worry would be that we get pulled into the relegation fight, when we get a really bad patch like last year.
OK heres my take on things
3 months ago most of us would have taken 4th from bottom, but we have recruited well and raised expectations. For some these expectations went manic. We are not a top six side.
The defence is solid
The midfield is hugely inproved but needs to pass better and move more.
The final ball from midfield is often poor and behind where it should be.
That said, these are all things that can be improved with good coaching
Up top is where we know (and knew) we have issues.
Stansfield seems to be the only capable and confident striker we have ATM, and playing him wide was a waste last night
I have lots of time for Hogan, but he is going through a bit of a tough time.
Juke is Juke, but if he is on the pitch,, passing football seems to go out the window
Maybe we take a gamble of Dixon up top with Stansfield playing at his prefered no 10 roll.If not it has to be Stansfield for now
Overall we need to have more shots
I would rather hold out until January and get the right striker in than sign someone like Lyle Taylor who i think would be a waste of money
Onwards to Norwich UTFB

Fair
The football is a massive improvement on what we've had for the last few years. A lot of our support need to give their head a wobble. We're finally being run by sensible people. This isn't a quick fix problem.
