Georgia - Portugal was a great game to watch.
It was. Weird how you can get invested in wanting Portugal to beat Georgia in a rugby match. DuPont being out is a massive loss for the tournament.

Titanic game last night. SA should have won really.
I think Australia may win this one tonight. Maybe Wales will get into better gear.
SA v Ireland should have been the final. Fascinating contest but thrown away by SA with some terrible kicking.
Australia have been very disappointing so far. Can't believe they won't pull themselves together and beat Wales, but it will be very good news for everybody else if they don't.
Why would Australia losing be good news for everyone else? What am I missing?

Probably because Wales will go through and Barking doesn’t rate them? I think SA and Ireland could potentially meet again in the final bit France are lurking. I think France can beat Ireland possibly but not SA, partially without DuPont. We’re all writing off NZ somehow and though everyone says they’re not really fearsome anymore… all to be seen yet.
Don't think France will get very far now. Without Dupont and Ntamack (injured before the competition started) they've lost their creativity. Replacements are workmanlike but no more, and they won't be a match for SA or Ireland.
Australia and NZ look very limited (NZ were dreadful in the warm-up games I saw as well) and it's difficult to look beyond SA and Ireland. Can't believe any potential opponents wouldn't prefer to be playing Fiji rather than Australia if it can be arranged though. Allez les gallois !
They’re big losses, particularly DuPont, a fantastic sports man.
