Watching todays game I thought Beilik looked a little leggy, what’s Sunjic done wrong this season to not come on? We were desperate for some pressing in the middle of the pitch and in my opinion we wouldn’t have conceded those 3 quick goals with his energy.
I know it’s a cliche that players look better out the team but I really felt Sunjic was having a really good season, and partnership with Beilik. Playing 3 games in a week surely his energy would be a welcome boon.
For me I would bring him back in. I always liked him, even when he was rubbish I still liked him, he always seemed to try.
In a pressing game he can press for two, I think. Slightly baffled he’s not a starter for this pressing game.
In my mind maybe it’s his last year in contract and he’s not part of the long term vision. But he would have been an asset today, I think.
