Have done so much. Spent so much. Have told us how much they have done and want to keep doing. Incredible.

But have made a massive mistake with the important decision. The footballing decision.

Everything else pales into insignificance if you get on field decisions wrong.

Least they are finding that out early on and hopefully will be smart and savvy enough to not make these bad choices time and time again like the last owners did over and over again.

No owners can get everything right. It’s impossible

It was Gary Cook's decision as CEO

The mistake Knighthead made was trusting him implicitly, but then they have his CV and heard his car salesman style spiel so had no reason not to

Tom probably won't take his sole advice again on such important matters though

He’s a Blues fan that took the opportunity to sack a DvB.

Living the dream.

I take it Craig Gardner has something on him then?

Results matter

You cant keep losing football games and returning bottom of the table form indefinitely, big Tom will have no problem making the call to Cook to find a replacement when the time comes

We'll all know when that is, weve been here before

I'm really happy for him, if his dream is to be in charge of a League 1 club.

Got a feeling Tom, was part of the decision making to bring in Rooney. Apparently they’re quite friendly from his days in the USA.

Yes they have got most things right, but they need to sort this Rooney thing soon as it's destroyed the feel good factor already.
It's a try to keep the club up now job.

Well ... first priority should be the same as it should have been last time .... someone better than JE

I don't have a problem with people making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes so it's not something to shy away from.

The key thing is that you have to learn from them. You have to establish what went wrong, what you should have done and then put something in place to minimise the chances of it happening again.

Every big decision has to balance business and football. They went too far one way and made a 99% business decision because they thought that was the best thing to do. It wasn't and neglecting the football part of the equation has caused a major problem. Hopefully they learn from this and the next appointment satisfies both sides.

The question first and foremost is if cook and Wagner are both friends of Rooney then WHO is the one that will get the job of telling him he’s sacked ! Because this can’t drag on another 4 or 5 games then we will be in big trouble .
