I know what you mean but that was what the year served up. I dug up a few classics and off beat stuff too though. Let me know anything I have missed that is half way decent.

You mentioned Mike Old field - ten years earlier Tubular Bells was released, along with Raw Power by Iggy and the Stooges, that was a real contrast!
