Loan move for Rico Browne

Well that says it all about his future here given the current climate.

Foggarty the darling of the youth team centre halves it seems. He'll be on the bench tomorrow.

Consistently correct.

3 week loan ?
Jude should be front and centre of everything England do in the attacking third of the pitch.
Give him the armband now too ! ( AUG 2023 )

It's a youth loan. They send him to a non-league side for a few weeks to get some experience of playing men's football, but he can still train with us and play non-competitive games. It's a good idea tbf

When's he out of contract Mayor? This summer?

The Youth loan’s are a good idea but for many lads it’s the start of the slide down into a career in non league football, Jack Concannon, Ryan Moore, Adam Siviter being fairly recent examples from Blues. One or two make it back into the pro game, usually at a lower level than the club they were originally with. Francis Amartey went out to Sutton Town from Blues and is now at Ayr Utd as an example.

It is, but I think at this point players know just how likely their continued stay at Blues is.

Most players won’t make it; it’s good for them to get experience to weigh up going down the ladder a bit.

Concannon in and out the Alvechurch team who are a level below Rushall. Josh Dugmore is captain and he’s decent at the level. Adam George was really good for Church this season and has recently moved up a level to Rushall.

Cameron Eubanks had a loan spell at Alvechurch and looked way out of his depth.

These loan spells are really worthwhile for young kids

Absolutely. I think it's worthwhile sending younger players out on short term loans to teams at this level so that they can get used to playing against players above their own age groups. Games at that level are likely to be much more physical.
Buy my novel (if you want to of course), The Loneliness That Others Call Freedom by Steven Vaughan. Available in both Kindle and paperback format.
