Drowning my sorrows with a few beers watching this.

Be a good game this I reckon.

4-3, last minute winner from Diaz
...Salah misses a penalty, again 😤
I find myself wanting all of the ‘other’ top teams to win now, regardless of who they are and who they are playing!

Ref just guessed when booking Guimares.

He actually had his back to me incident.

Possibly the right decision but further proof that the officials often make decisions based upon what they they think may have happened rather than what they saw.

What the feck? That's EXACTLY what VAR is for and they haven't even asked the ref to have a second look

He did slightly clip him though, so can’t be overturned.

He carried on for a few yards then went down like he’d been shot.

Embarrassing from Jota, the ref and VAR.
Tell you what that crack is really moreish.

If the keeper ankle taps the striker as he goes round him when has it ever not been a penalty?

We have consistently been told this season that "contact" is not enough, it has be "contact with consequence". That is what Webb has spent months reinforcing.

Giving a penalty for that yesterday flew in the face of any of it. The contact has no consequence if a player can take several more steps and then hurl himself to the ground with nobody near him.

The whole process was pathetic.
