As soon as he made the tackle I thought he'd be in trouble.
Harsh but we're in 2024. It's a red card unfortunately
Var is totally ruining the game though
...there was going to be nothing to talk about for this game, it's been shocking.
VAR step in to make a fecking joke of a decision guaranteeing it will will now be talked about 😤
The romance of The FA Cup third round........
Palace v Everton televised on a Thursday night
More of a red card than Bieliks vs Plymouth but still not a red card.
That the Viler-led FA didn’t throw Bielik’s red out demonstrates that CL’s tackle had to be red, surely? Given that someone doing something a tenth as bad got a red…

Giving out some confusing signals there! 😁
Was VAR correct or not (in your opinion, obvs)

Yes they were. And kavanagh was right it giving a red card. I'm critical of refs quite alot but I think they've got this spot on.
That kind of tackle made every 5 minutes at grass roots level. If that's a red then we may as well just dish out 22 red cards before kick off and feck off down the pub.
I’m convinced it’s the use of slo mo that’s causing a lot of the issues
It should only be used to determine whether contact has been made in a foul
it gives a totally different perspective to normal speed
Straight legged sliding tackle, went over the ball, and made studs up contact with the other player.
However minimal the final contact was, he made contact via an out of control tackle, so clear red card.
Sorry but it being a red is mental.
You can freeze frame plenty of tackles this weekend and make an argument that they’re a red from a still image.
