Myself and a few others earmarked both of them pretty much as soon as Rooney was announced and if I picked them out they must be low hanging fruit tbh. No brainier to link them as the work we’ve done prior to the window opening will have been with Rooney in mind and you would imagine his hope was to get them in to carry out his instructions on the pitch and help the rest develop. Wazza will be gutted if we do get them.

There’s no way we could be in the market for a player of his calibre. He will be the best player in the world, eclipsing Jude soon, he is just biding his time and lulling everyone in to a false sense of security.
I don't think we'll be in for Cashin, I've had multiple bites in the office this morning. They've taken up the year option on his contract and will just make him stay, doesn't matter if he's unhappy because he's under contract apparently.
