My annual plea for help.
What are the must do trips and are there any less travelled gems?
I am staying in Bangtao, I already have golfing planned but has anybody discovered things not as touristy as the travel agents excursions?

I've been in Phuket for the last week or so, on a 5 week break from the UK winter.

Patong is too much for me, although very good fun. We are currently at a place called The Village, Coconut Island. Very nice, but super expensive for a beach front villa.

Don't forget the insect repellent!
