It's a faded red and clear to see it's St George's cross. The abomination on the England kit was obviously created to provoke English folk and generate media attention.

Call me an idiot all you like, but the different policing levels based on your beliefs and background are worrying.

To be fair; I'm pretty sure the consensus on here was that the flag (on the shirt collar) should've been left alone but not really that fussed about it.

Plus a few of the other idiotic comments.

I might be wrong though.

Diagusting scenes in London today where the police have set upon the crowds celebrating. It makes you wonder if we're even allowed to have pride on our national day any more.

Happy St George's Day to those celebrating!

I think I’ve spotted one.

It was ... sorry i was making a comparison between those in the Reform Party who were up in arms about it then ... and yet broke all their own rules with the advert i posted above

Except Turkey didn’t exist at the time as the Turks didn’t conquer Anatolia from the Eastern Roman/ Byzantine Empire until the 11th century, so he wasn’t born in Turkey.

He would have spoken Greek as that was the lingua franca in Anatolia and the levant at the time.

It would be difficult to say what his ethnicity was because it was very fluid in the Roman Empire. His parents could have been from Britannia, Gaul, Hispanic, Italia, Illyria, Carthage or Hellenic. Hellenic is the likeliest.

Anyway happy St George’s day.

You're talking shite, complete and utter shite.

Just watched a few streams from the march. Took an hour to walk to Whitehall. No interference from police. Police for the most part weren't even escorting the march.
It was all trouble free on the march.
About 1500 to 2000 ignorant idiots walking through London singing
Engerrland Engerrland
National Anthem
Rule Britannia
England 'till I die
and a lot of ...
"We want our country back"
and quite a bit of booing when they saw non-white people.

A lot LESS policing on the march part of this than on the Pro-Palestine marches.

Then again those are big marches ... the most these pr!cks could muster was 2000.

Lots of football flags as you'd expect.

Idiots were generally all well behaved though.

Trouble only kicked off when a few people, after they'd listened to the speeches, decided to ignore the area they were supposed to be in and tried to crash through barriers. Only about a dozen though.

Then a lot of pushing and shoving and police trying to move others away and back to the designated areas.

Then nothing and everyone pretty much went home.

No "wading in by police" spotted and nothing more than a bit of pushing and shoving by the knuckle dragging neanderthals

It comes to something when singing patriotic songs and waving St George's Cross are scoffed at by so many. No wonder the country has gone to the dogs.

I'm off here for tonight, too much nonsense flying around.
