I finished my first ever half marathon and can't believe how far I've come since I started running.
Approx 2 hours 20 so not the fastest time but one I'm pleased with.
That big curved hill up around Selly Park was a bastard.
Great atmosphere though, it actually restored my faith in humanity a bit.

Was wondering how you got on. Very well done mate. It’s a tough old course.
Well done, it was a warm one last year aswell. Remember suffering on that stretch near the Pershore Road turnaround lol
Wasn't fit enough to take it on today but Ive got unfinished business and will be back next year

Fair play for completing, if you ever need another challenge, shorter but pure hill terrain try the Yes Tor Hill Race which is ran by mostly by the insane or commando's, I remember passing a guy on the way down trying to dig his trainers out of a peat bog with his bare hands. The finish does feel good.
