Samsung or LG preferred

Something decent for live sports.

Nothing over 50 inches, I don't live in a council house.

TIA

TV talk is banned for the next 18 years
What's the budget? You can get Tv's ranging from £200 - +£1K in that size
Is Sky Glass any good?

The system is good but the TVs are massive, heavy and a bit shit.

If you’re considering this go with Sky Stream (same as Sky Glass only in a tiny box not built into the tele) and buy a better TV

HiSense do some very good TVs at a good price.
Better/Higher hertz rating, the smoother the picture

The size of the tv should be governed by the size of the room, not the band of your council tax.

I’d just go on Curry’s and get an LG Smart tv, they’re all much of a muchness unless you’re after something top of the range.
There is this thing called the internet, great for finding online reviews on all sorts including TVs

We have a Sony Bravia, love it, bloody love it

I was trying to work out if the joke was that folks in council houses have plenty of money for big TVs, or that big TVs are very "working class" or vulgar. If you have to ask, it probably wasn't a great gag

My TV is massive, and I don't live in a council flat and am pretty loaded really
Bet you’ve got a massive dick as well?

Absolutely massive - most people have never seen one so big
