Alfons Sampsted's Birmingham City loan hasn't quite gone to plan with the defender only making one start against Fulham's under-21s in the Vertu Trophy

We should play him at left back in the the next two Cup games, if he looks OK then it will mean we don't need to bring in another LB to cover Lee Buchanan's injury.
He told him he'll drive him back to his club himself?
AndyVery much agree with this. I think we need to fully utilise the breadth of the squad in our next 2 cup games. We should play him at left back in the the next two Cup games, if he looks OK then it will mean we don't need to bring in another LB to cover Lee Buchanan's injury.
Someone should tell him that he doesn't like Sampsted
"He’s had to be patient but he’s a really good character. They are the bits that people don’t see, his attitude to training is as good as you could possibly wish for and around the training ground the way he behaves and conducts himself is first class.
“He’s been a really good addition to the environment and hopefully he can get on the pitch more in the second half of the season.”

I agree with you. While I'd like to see more of him at RB, our need for cover is greater at LB.
However as we're signing him permanently come the summer regardless, it would be nice to see him get a run of games in his natural position to really make a judgement on his abilities.
It would also theoretically free up TGH to play more often in midfield, thus allowing for greater rotation of Paik and Iwata along with Leonard.
