Yeah, the point about 1k is that’s the minimum away allocation we can give (you have to give them blocks 1 and 2 because of where the access to those seats is.
Whether they bring 1 fan or 1000, that’s what they have to be given.
If Crawley take up had been confirmed as no more than 1k, blocks 3 and 4 could have gone on sale earlier
Why is the ticket exchange only available once the ground is really sold out?
If a STH knows they can't make a game surely they should make it available to the club to resell at the earliest opportunity.
Cos the club make more money on selling tickets normally I.e they don’t have to give a chunk back to the ST holder on those

Where did you get 1000 minimum from? For Blues it's 2000 unless agreed by the EFL beforehand.
The EFL regulations say:
35.7 Facilities for visiting supporters
35.7.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every
home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time.
I’ve been wondering where he got that logic from as I’ve never heard of that before
Does he mean due to segregation of the concourse, egress/exit rather than a rule?

Yes. We have to give all of blocks 1 and 2, because block 1 doesn’t have its own separate access.
What I am saying is we will always ‘lose’ a minimum of c1k seats with any away fans in attendance , no matter how few there are

As a season ticket holder you are committing to a guaranteed seat at a reduced price. The club is looking to sell the ground out therefore the empty seats are the ones sold before the ones already sold. I think it’s very fair and logical.
With demand season tickets shouldn’t be cheaper than match by match in reality, they should just guarantee a ticket and a seat. The reason why they ever became cheap in the first place was to guarantee up front sales by giving a bulk discount, most of it was open standing when they started.
Our big stadium will mean that season tickets will remain at a price point that is cheaper than match by match I would have thought as the demand will not be there any time soon.
Speaking of tickets, I've purchased them last Wednesday and they still haven't arrived...
