I couldn't post on the thread below (now closed) about Politics Board because i was banned (again) at the time - for overly agrressively questioning someone's intelligence.
As the site owner, Andy, pointed out in his post here ... "I find the victim complex from the right wingers who get banned is quite funny.
The person on this forum who has been banned the most is at least self aware enough to accept when he's overstepped the mark and waited out his multiple bans and hasn't constantly reinvented new usernames to come back on. That person is Rags, and is one of the most left wing posters on here. "
Just to say, i don't agree with some of the bans i've had. Some have been overly petty and sometimes i have stayed within the rules (but pushed them to the limit) and still been banned. But, that's life, i can't walk into someone else's house and behave in a way they find offensive just because i've convinced myself i'm right about something
... and this is depite me knowing most of the mods personally and also knowing Andy and having shared many long car journeys with him to away matches years ago.
So i'm the actual proof that there isn't favouritism and that people aren't banned for their political views. Banning comes from ignoring rules and protocols - more a case of "how" you express yourself rather than "what" you are expressing.
It's a private messageboard, you have no "right" to post here, you are here by invitation. If the owner (through the moderators) decides you need time to cool off or think about your approach or attitude then suck it up buttercups. Don't be pathetic and whinge about things and try to circumvent the ban by using new log-ins or usernames. Just accept it and go and look at yourself.
Can i suggest that anyone trying to get round any ban by changing their username, hiding their IP address, re-registering, etc should get an automatic 6 month ban.

I think we need Andy to put together a league table of who has been banned the most to see who the real bad boys are...

There shouldn't even be a "Politics Board", that's the irony. SHA was just general stuff, quite a bit of music and politics and then some football thrown in
Later posters joining and then complaining about there being too much politics and "can it all be on a separate board" are like those other snowflakes who move into new build apartments built next to long established music venues and then all group together and get the music venue closed down becaue the music disturbs their tranquility

I can't do that either, after I reported someone (I think it was a mod, but won't put a name to it as I don't remember) for doing something I got put on the naughty step for.

I've had my right to report comments stripped for exactly the same thing.
Got naughty stepped for something, reported somebody who did exactly the same thing, had my reporting ability removed.
I have kindly been let back onto the Pol board however after a ban of a couple of years.
I’m a good lad, don't get banned anymore although I’m sure some fecker had it in for me a few years back.
It’s a tad annoying to get naughty stepped and have no idea what you've done. I get enough of that from the fecking mrs.
