Since this board has been renamed I also recommend that you use this for asking about moderation policy and why a particular thread has been edited / deleted.
I'm not guaranteeing that you will get an answer that satisfies you (and the mods are under no obligation to get into a discussion) but a polite request here will probably be more favourably looked upon than kicking up a stink on the main forum.
Please note: Once the mod concerned considers the question answered the thread will be closed (and sometimes deleted). This is not a forum for debate, but for explanation.
