In my opinion it certainly shouldn't be abandoned. If some poor fan was knocked over by a car outside the ground just before kick-off (for example) then it wouldn't be abandoned

The fan isn’t then in the ground though is he. Can’t have a football game going on when there’s medical teams trying to save someone’s life in the stands.

Think the patient will be moved at the earliest opportunity. Can't imagine their attending companions will be hanging around. Free to crack on at that point or is that just disrespectful?
