Following discussions between The EFL and The Female Referees Association an amicable agreement was reached . Rule 87 clause 4.2 will be amended viz:-
"Any player may be subject to disciplinary action in the current season for any foul ,misdemeanour or other inappropriate act committed upon the field of play in any preceding season "
"preceding season"will be construed as any season within the living memory of the said female referee
NB The players total lack of recollection of the offence ,the game in which it occurred or of any game whatsoever in the pertinent season will not be considered as a mitigating factor at any disciplinary hearing
