Giving leicester a right go
How can a team only promoted this season look that much better than us ?
Lots of pace, look really fit compared to us
Back four look comfortable with the ball
The big diffetence is the midfield, really quick to close down leicester - tracking runners and not giving them space in behind
The players know what they are supposed to be doing. They don't have better footballers than us. I'd say they absolutely play on the front foot. Always got runners.
Is it only us they’re better than, or are they better than some other teams too. Better than some that have squads worth far more than ours? I’m intrigued to know.
Think you'll find they are being coached by someone who knows the game at this level really well and is a student of coaching, revered by his colleagues with a massterplan of coaching at most every situation. We dont seem to have that pedigree.
Thoroughly deserved equaliser. Did well to bounce back against the leaders after a 4-0 thrashing at Leeds 3 days ago
Lucky deflection but god have they put a shift in
Non stop battling performance and well deserved point
Fair play to them
Should have been 2 down by then with a clear penalty and were battered first half.

Thanks for the reply, you didn’t quite answer the question though. So I remain intrigued
Only watched second half. Didn’t think Ipswich looked like scoring few long range shots no real chances.
Leicester sloppy on the break. Wrong pass to often. The once they got it right should have been a penalty.
Their forward players seemed a bit lazy thought the game was won.
Double deflection for the late Ipswich equaliser.very lucky.

''Better than some that have squads worth far more than ours?'' - if you mean this question then the simple answer is they have a coaching stucture/leader and student of the game who knows his players maxims and plays to their strengths in the week and on match day. Not sure we have that at the moment and many others too and thats why he outwits so many oppositions 'in game' when others sit on their hands - QED the quadruple subsitution against us which flumoxed our lot.
Does that answer your question or at least go some way towards it ? Hopefully anyway.
Nope. Nowhere near. It’s a pretty simple question
yea they are better than most hence being second, the reason for that is likely the coach

Took over in December 2021 and steered them to an 11th place finish. Reckon this guy may be a good candidate for giving someone more than three months and zero transfer windows?
