Off to limerick this weekend - any recommendations
Cheers
Reedy I'll ask Dave Irishblue and his son Ian to get back to you.
They are regular visitors to Blues games here and live in Limerick.
They've also had the odd pint or two over time 😋😎
There is an old pub called the Crown,
You won’t see any villa in town,
With lads from the blues,
All on the booze,
And plenty of Sorrows to drown.
Blues pub The Roost,
had a great boost,
when Tom Brady showed up
and Blues won the Cup.
Europe was sealed,
A new ground at Wheels
and Mr Wagner was revered
Take an extra day off before you return to work, you never know who's watching.
Mad how many people book holidays or trips to places while seemingly having no idea what to do when they're there.
There’s a pub by the blues called Bainsy’s,
Its name has had plenty of changes,
It gets pretty packed,
From the front to the back,
And to get served it takes effing ages
At least this fella has managed to work out how to get there without asking for help
There is a blues pub called the roost,
Fans give it’s profits a boost,
with The George & The Forge,
And Adebola of course,
Serving Carling, Madri & Dark Fruits
Tom Collins
Jerry Flannery's
Great Guinness in both!
There’s this pub call the big bull,
On match days it gets pretty full,
Whether we win or lose,
We are all on the booze,
No matter if the football is dull
JJ Bowles for Guinness
Tom Collins Bar for Guinness
Bradshaw’s Bar
Katie Daly’s near King John’s Castle, which is well worth a visit
The Curragower, on the other side of the river, with a great view of the castle
Treaty City Brewery by the castle. Great tour with tasting and a nice classy bar
Myles Breen’s
The Locke Bar
Nancy Blake’s
Peter Clohesssy’s - ex rugby international and great for sport
Jerry Flannery’s - another ex-Ireland player
Good luck. Have a great weekend. Slainte.
