I don’t think its desperation for a rivalry, its not wanting to see a local team in the same division do well. Same as Cov. Same as if Walsall were in the Championship.

Always thought of Albion fans as being a bit strange.. The choice of the 23rd Psalm, unedited, as their club anthem is weird in the extreme, and don’t get me started on Boing-boing. Deliverance meets The Magic roundabout in my mind.
Me neither, but chances are the vast majority of Blues fans in Greater Birmingham will work/socialise with more Albion fans than say QPR or Swansea. So there is naturally going to be a stronger focus on them and trying to do better than them as it is more in your face. And vice versa.

So is anything substantial known about the new owner. I'm always sceptical when people describe themselves as an entrepreneur. Maybe another pretender who hasn't really got the funds?
