Birmingham Airport has temporarily suspended operations due to a "security incident on an aircraft".

A Birmingham Airport spokesperson said: "The aircraft landed safely and all passengers and crew have disembarked.

"All customers due to travel should make their way to the airport and check in as normal."

Yes - me and my granddaughter were on the train for granddaughter’s football match in Coventry. My son (in Coventry on a course all day) was waiting to pick us up. He had to quickly drive to Lea Hall to pick us up, then drive back to Coventry. We got there a few minutes after kick off.
