Since pre-season started on 1 July 2023 we have played one and only one team twice with the same Blues manager om the bench (as Blues manager) for both games. Can you name the team?
For ease this includes pre-season friendlies, League games, League Cup games and FA cup games.

We've played Hull 4 times with 4 managers (Rooney, Spooner, Mowbray and Venus) and Leicester (Rooney, Mowbray and Rowett) and Cardiff ( Eustace, Rooney and Rowett) 3 each with 3 different managers.
We haven't even manged the same combination of managers for those.
Cheltenham are also the only team we've beaten twice in this period.
I think that's more because they are completely awful rather than anything else.

The first 3 games of 1946-47 were the same three as 1939-40 in the same order. I presume 1946-47 was using the 1939-40 fixture list as otherwise it is a remarkable coincidence
1909-10 and 1988-89.
We almost managed it in 1978-79 and 2013-14, but beat QPR and Millwall twice

My bad, I fumbled that one, I meant spurs but obviously don't know how to set a trivia question. We were the last team to play at white hart lane and the first team to play there in the league, 7 years later.
