gerry1875Real Madrid aren’t in the basque regionyeehawIt's not a Derby though, one area is catalan the other basque, they are just the 2 biggest clubs in spainZLAMMERremember when this game used to be the biggest in europe and now its barely talked about?
True, derbies in general aren't as big as they used to be IMO
RagsI can be corrected, but why did Bellinghim leave? Short time in the mens team.
The boyhood star of young age!
We should move on and support our current players, maybe?
in very simple terms
1 .. he was already too good for us and was wanted by all the top teams.
2 .. you can't stand in the way of someone's ambition and ability
3 .. under the rules here in the UK, because of his age, he wasn't obliged to sign a contract with Birmingham and could have moved on for very very little money with himself alone earning the big signing on fee elsewhere
4 .. Jude DID sign a contract with Birmingham (he didn't have to) meaning that Birmingham would receive a transfer fee for him. For this reason, more than anything, we love him forever.
5 .. The fee received by the club ... £25 million (plus future add-ons and future percentage up to £35 million) pretty much "saved" the club
By him resigning and a club having to pay a big fee, there was a significant chance that a number of decent clubs may have dropped out of the process.
A free agent compared to a £25m fee has a lot less options. He did put his career trajectory in jeopardy.
Thankfully it worked out really well, a club that would develop him to the next few levels were still in a position to pay the fee and eventually signed him.
It very much could have been a sliding doors moment. Dortmund choose a cheaper prospect and he goes to Man U and it works out differently.
In football, the cream doesn't always rise to the crop - development has to be nurtured and lots of things can upset that process.
Maybe he goes to Reeal direct from Blues with no fee, maybe that slows his development or maybe he turns into a phenomenon even quicker.
And for that, I will ever be thankful for Bellingham and his advisors.
El Mayor
Should have worn it on a gold chain.
Not propper Blues.
I don't understand your bot comment
Dbv?
Sorry. I don't understand bot comment.
Dvb?
a bloke with a blues pin signing Rodrygo's shirt made me chuckle
How can Blues be so big time and so rubbish at exactly the same time? Nurtured best player on the planet right now and have one of the best (most well know) American Footballer of all time wearing our badge in the dressing room of probably the best club team in the World (although really Man City probably still are). Yet we are stinking the second tier out with terrible football and can't even muster a performance against Rotherham.
because the football hasnt caught up with everything else yet, it will, albeit there may be a season or so's delay
Tom Brady explaining that they dropped Myoshi for Oli Burke...

it is weird - it’s so out of sync it’s untrue
but look at the levels off the pitch is operating in less than 12 months in, it’s astronomic and speaks volumes of course
just gutted that it hasn’t materialised on the pitch this season and we haven’t had any chance to even stabilise where we were
