I had sausage eggs and beans for my tea, spoilt by the beans (heinz).
Not low sugar or reduced fat type, they we pale and tasteless.
What has happened to heinz?, I've been recommended Aldi Bramwells.

One here for the Branston too, but tbh Asda/Morrisons' own brand beans taste no different to my pallet with a splash of HP fruity over the top.
Prefer to get my quail eggs from Waitrose, though.

I’ve been masking the taste of Heinz for years - home-made pesto/chilli sauce or HP. Funny to hear that people think Heinz have got worse 😂 and I’m now happy to try Branston. Thanks for the tip.

Large knob of butter
Chopped up spring onion (or red onion)
in saucepan for few minutes till butter melted and onion soft
squeeze of bbq sauce
splash of tabasco
ground black pepper
optional flourish of chilli flakes
400g can of Heinz baked bean

When did Heinz baked beans get so expensive, not really noticed as have multi packs of Co-op own brand but saw price the other day and had to do a double take.
