try feeding it, you seem like someone who could use an enormous sense of wellbeing that might keep you happy for the rest of the day. Or maybe about five minutes.
The dirty pigeons love a bit of it.
bluer than bluesSuper HansSishi RunakIf we develop a consistent cutting edge in ”normal” games then yes we will.
Yes, definitely this.
I’m very happy with how the season has started but this was a true men against boys game that largely tells us nothing that we didn’t already know in a competition that is beneath us.
If we can dominate like this against actual adults then I’ll start popping the champagne.
Shrewsbury..?
In my lifetime we have scored 7 goals in a game 4 times Blackpool, Stoke, Oxford and Fulham.
I wasn't at Oxford though my brother was. On the plus side he wasn't there last night so we are now even at 3 7 goal hauls each.
It's pretty rare regardless of the standard of the opposition.
I've still got the Sports Argus from the Blackpool 7-1 somehwere in the house
I've still got the Se7en fanzine from the week after Stoke.
Wake Up Blue or whatever it was called at the time.
I used to love Wake Up Blue when I was younger.
Didn't we inflict Liverpools heaviest historical result on them, not sure how many goals it was
9-1 in 1954.
It's a while ago though. Only the oldest fans would remember it.

Small Heath 12–0 Walsall Town Swifts, Second Division, 17 December 1892
Record FA Cup win: Small Heath 10–0 Druids, fourth qualifying round, 9 November 1893
Record League Cup win:

Birmingham City 6–0 Macclesfield Town, second round, 22 September 1998
Record European win: Birmingham City 5–0 KB, Inter-Cities Fairs Cup quarter final, 7 December 1960
Yes even accounting for the opposition some of the football was sublime!
I wasn't at any of those. The only one I could have gone go was Macclesfield, but it was midweek and I was living in London and didn't own a car, so I did not go.
I was at our joint record away win the 0-7 at Stoke.
Also our two heaviest home defeats.

The Macclesfield one was a strange affair. I'd gone to the game up at Macc and I think it was 3-0 to us. For the second leg, because it was a bit pointless, I think the clamour was there to reduce the ticket prices, but Macclefield wouldn't agree. In the end, we got a paltry attendance. B_C_F_C will be along with the attendance and other key facts in a litte while, I expect. I went, because in those days, I was a bit more committed than I am now - it was a weird game, because the scoreline was obviously hefty, but didn't really reflect the game and they had quite a few chances.

Had the pleasure of being at all four of these and several sixes too.

Without googling I think it was 3,483, I was one of them.
The attendance was shit for a few reasons; as I recall the tickets were full price cos Macc insisted (£17 I think) and it was a foregone conclusion.
Biggest thing I remember were the continued attempts to set up AJ to score second half which he failed; kinda foreshadowing his career with us.
