Why do foreign coaches (even good ones) do this? It’s maybe a bit passè talking about ‘disrespecting’ the competition but it’s a fact that fans (particularly this far into a competition) want to see their team go on. Villa fans would have loved Wembley trip and win. Ha feckin ha.

TBF, the best foreign coaches - Pep, Mourinho - go all out for it at the start because they recognise the value of winning things.

1) A lot of British managers do exactly the same in this tournament and have done for donkey’s years, but why let that get in the way of good old fashioned Xenophobia.

2) The last time a British manager won this tournament was 2012.

3) Managers do rotate teams in this competition as it is seen commercially and from a sporting sense nowhere near as important as league and cup competitions, especially for a club like the Evil Slime who are sadly going well in the Champions League and have every chance of qualifying for it again.

4) If you hadn’t gathered by now, your post is utter tripe.

Would've been in the quarters with Man City out as well.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Why do you have to be so offensive Nat?

I only see Nat’s posts when others quote them now, as this is par for the course. He isn’t only offensive to me but for the moment seems intent on responding to anything I write, flippant or serious, to find some insult or contradiction to be able to make. It’s pretty silly really.

Blah blah blah.

Your insinuation that foreign managers sack this competition off for the hubristic sake of it was nonsense, and deserved to be called out as such.

United vs Tottenham in the QF so one of them is going out too.

Had Newcastle to win the League Cup at the start of this season, think I have a chance of getting a result there.

I see that whilst I've been away you've earned yourself a ban from the Politics Board.

Well done.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

The scramble on Vile Talk to convince themselves that it wasn't a bad result is fantastic.

One post citing 3 injuries to Spurs players as justification for Emery's changes.

Another suggesting without irony, that they are still in contention for the treble
Thank you. I’m going to take 5-10mins to just watch the time pass. A zen moment.
